What will I be doing in my UK placement church?
Joining the church staff team, involved in local church and community ministries, you will be mentored, you'll focus your training and ministry to a track (teaching, worship, evangelism, biblical counselling, children/youth).
How much time will I spend with other interns?
There are three main times the interns gather over the summer, the beginning, middle and end. Welcome Week is hosted in Edinburgh and is an amazing opportunity to get to know the staff and interns, as well as be immersed in British culture and spend time preparing for a summer of ministry.
At the Theological Conference, you will spend two days in London, having theological training to support the practical ministry work you will be doing in local British churches.
The internship finishes in Liverpool, where the interns spend a week reflecting on their summer and in devotionals from local church leaders.
Where might I be placed?
Liverpool, Birmingham, Manchester or London
